I get so hangry when watching all these ridiculously cheesy and toasted meatball subs on the inter-webs that I had to make one for myself and see how I faired. It turned out WWAAAAYYYY better than I imagined and will be one i’ll be keeping in my recipe book for a LONG LONG long long time. Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1lb turkey meat
- 2 cups diced bread (bread crumbs)
- 2 tbsp chopped onions and garlic
- 3 tbsp chopped rosemary, thyme, and oregano
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp olive oil salt and pepper to taste
Red Sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped onions and garlic
- 2 tbsp chopped rosemary, thyme, and garlic
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- salt and pepper to taste
Herb and Garlic Oil
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic and onions
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary, garlic, and onions
